Charging Toward ’23 Season at Brockville Speedway

BROCKVILLE, ON-Excitement builds as the 2023 season opener at Brockville Speedway draws near.

Saturday, May 13th marks the kick-off of a new year of racing at the popular 3/8th’s mile oval on Temperance Lake Road. Thanks to some hard work behind the scenes, it’ll be an exciting schedule of 17 straight weekends of regular season action at The BOS. Racers and fans alike are counting the days until the first green flag.

“Everyone is pumped-up to get things rolling and our staff has put together an exciting line-up that will provide the best of what dirt track racing has to offer,” said Brockville Speedway track owner/promoter Paul Kirkland. “The return of the Big Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series – Wednesday, August 2nd – is probably the biggest news of the year. It’ll be the first time the Big Blocks have been here since 2019 and the show will also include the Sportsman-Modifieds and NLMA Late Models.”

Sprint Car fans will get their fair share of thrills, with 4 different groups – including the home track Trailer Pros Canada 602 Crate Sprinters – sharing the stage. New on this season’s calendar will be 7 dates for the PM Promotions Dirt Pro Stocks and the 4-race Eastern Ontario Mini Stock Showdown with Brockville Speedway dates Saturday, June 10th and August 12th, while the Eastern Ontario Vintage Stock Car Club will have a total of 7 2023 shows at the Eastern Ontario fan favourite outlet.

“It wouldn’t be a year of racing at Brockville Speedway without the Ogilvie’s Auto and Fleet Triple Crown Series,” Paul Kirkland said. “The opening rounds this season will be Saturday, May 27th and July 1st, with 50-lap 358 Modified and 40-lap Sportsman-Mod features each night. The final point shows for each class will be run October 13th and 14th during the Dirt Outlaw Apparel/King Edward Auto Parts Northeast Fall Nationals.”

Paul Kirkland also says the season finale will also include the championship crowning event for the Southern Ontario Sprint Cars and the annual post-race pit party following the Saturday night race program.
