Rick Laubach turned the fastest lap in qualifying hot lap/time trials at 17.342. Times got quicker throughout the evening with the Modifieds eventually turning laps in the 16 second bracket.  He withdrew during the feature after running out of tear-offs…

Darwin Green severely damaged his car during the Modified feature. Green slammed the first turn wall ripping the rear end out of his No. 1g. It’s unclear if he’ll be able compete tomorrow night…

Randy Chrysler flipped during his Modified consolation. According to his teammate Erick Rudolph, he was uninjured but he’s done for the weekend.

“Randy’s all done,” commented Rudolph. “He won’t be racing tomorrow. He’s okay. You don’t like to see anyone flip like that, especially a teammate and a friend. He’s okay. We’ll get this car fixed up for him in the coming weeks.”

Mike Mahaney hit pit road multiple times during the feature. He ended up breaking two shocks on the car…
