CORNWALL, ONT – Inclement weather has provided several headaches and heartburns to Cornwall Motor Speedway promoter Raymond Lavergne over the first few months of the season, because of several cancelations; speedway management had to do some schedule reshuffle once more that will impact some nights in July.
Cindy Ladouceur/Danny Lefebvre Memorial remake this Sunday!
Even with every effort made last Sunday evening, with rain falling down combined with a late finish, it was decided for the safety of the Mini-Stock class to postpone the 25-lap Cindy Ladouceur/Danny Lefebvre Memorial to this coming Sunday July 9th, the division will have 2 feature event as they will be part of the Super DIRTcar Big-Block Series visit, drivers who did not attempt to qualify on July 2nd will not be eligible for the 25-lap race, only the regular feature already scheduled.
Modified added, SpeedSTR & Slignshot removed on Sunday, July 16
With already 4 events down the drain, Lavergne decided to add the Modified division on Sunday, July 16th as they will share the spotlight with the Patriot Sprint Group. The SpeedSTR and Slignshot that were originally scheduled on that evening have been removed and negotiations are currently in place with series officials to find a new date in August. We will have more details shortly.
Autograph Night is on July 23rd
Part of the first wave of changes done in June, we remind all drivers and fans that the popular autograph night will be on Sunday, July 23rd part of round 2 of the Race for the Cure Sportsman Series.

These are the current changes to the schedule, some other modifications might occur in the coming weeks, we will make sure to announce any new addition or removal via our media releases, website and social media platform.
