Cornwall Motor Speedway Adds New Partnership

CORNWALl, ONT – Cornwall Motor Speedway is proud to announce a new partnership with Artist in Residence distillery, owned by former Modified and Late Model driver, Pierre Mantha, this new sponsorship will be a nice incentives for our Modified and Sportsman division along with something for the fans as well!

A former Modified and Late Model winner at Cornwall, Pierre Mantha is a successful businessman in commercial vehicles sales in the Ottawa-Gatineau region with his Hino franchises. Mantha decided to jump in the distillery adventure as he founded Artist in Residence located in Gatineau near the airport. The first product on the market was the Waxwing Gin which, had a lot of success, since then, 3 more products were added to the family with the Mayhaven ginger liqueur, Vodkalight and the Kilinger Rye.

Artist in Residence, will give a bottle of their featured product to the feature winner of both Modified and Sportsman. In addition, all special events such as the Canadian Nationals, Race for the Cure, DIRTcar Series having a podium finish, all three drivers will receive a prize. Our race fans will also be eligible to receive some prizes part of this agreement as we plan to have weekly draws during our race events.

Wanting to give back to his racing roots, Mantha is also a sponsor to some of our regular drivers at the speedway, you will see his logo on Modified driver Brian McDonald, 2017 Sportsman champion, Justin Lalancette and upcoming Sportsman driver Cedric Gauvreau. He also wanted to support the race track that is now closest to his home.
