A Very Lucrative 2019 for the Modifieds Loud & Dirty Brand at Cornwall Motor Speedway!

CORNWALL, ONT – The headline division at Cornwall Motor Speedway, the Loud & Dirty Brand will have the spotlight at numerous occasions during the 50th season of the speedway. History could be made for one of the drivers as he will be looking in getting a fifth title.

On the schedule 16 times in 2019, the Modifieds will have several events of 100 laps or more along with high paying races throughout the summer. Celebrating its 50th season, on June 23rd, the Modifieds will run a 50-lap feature that will pay $5,000 to win. In total, if a driver would win all the extended feature events, he would have a whopping $41,000 in his bank account!

The Fat Les Chip Stand Canadian Nationals will headline the busy schedule with 4 races during the year starting on opening night, next Sunday, May 19th with a 100-lap affair, then on June 23rd with 50 laps and $5,000 going to the winner. The Series continues on August 4th for 100 laps and will conclude on September 1st with the annual 125-lap event paying $5,000 to the winner.

The Super DIRTcar Series will make their annual stop on June 30th with 100 laps, the total purse was expanded in 2019 with the winner now getting $7,500 and $500 to start. The other marquee event will be on August 22nd for the 3rd edition of the Race for the Cure 150, again this season, offering $12,000 to win, and $500 to start. The unified DIRTcar 358-Modified Series is in town on July 14th with 100 laps. Along with the Canadian Nationals, these 3 events will gather solid fields of local and invaders.

On the speedway, Carey Terrance will look to defend his 4th title and could become the first driver in the Modified division to capture a 5th, he is currently tied with 4 other drivers. Terrance will need to battle hard again as Kyle Dingwall, Corey Wheeler, Joey Ladouceur, Mario Clair, David Hebert, Brian McDonald, Chris Raabe, Louie Jackson and others are all back to compete for the title. A minimum field of 16 to 20 competitors is expected on any given night in the top class.

It will all start this coming Sunday evening with the first race of the Fat Les Chip Stand Canadian Nationals with 100 laps and more than 30 cars in the pit area.
