PLATTSBURGH, NY – The Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour is set to begin the 2021 season this coming Saturday, June 5th here at the Airborne Speedway featuring all three divisions, Nostalgia, DMNT Modified and the new Unlimited.

This will mark the 5th consecutive year the DMNT has been on the card at Airborne going back to 2017. Of course last year’s event fell to the Covid pandemic as did much of the series 2020 plans.
Despite the US/Canadian border still closed a good field of cars is still expected which is a pleasant surprise given the circumstances.
Series regulars Alan McDonald, Brad Litzenberger and Chip Gauthier are of course all going to be in attendance. Mike Houghtaling will be running two cars and going for the double dip in Modified and Unlimited. Joe August is expected to make his series debut with his 700 hp big block entry. Frank Brown should  make his first ever start in the Tom Belewich ride, Gus Kamburelis also making his DMNT debut. Carl Cram, George Palmer, Merv Blackwell and Mike Wheeler will also be returning to DMNT action. There may be a few surprises this Saturday as well.
“Post time” as they say at Airborne will be 7 pm.
