SYRACUE, NY – It has been nearly 2 years in the making, but indoor go-kart racing on dirt, will be coming to the Syracuse Fairgrounds April 14-16. Plans were started for an indoor dirt go-kart event before the COVID pandemic hit and now it’s time to get things going.
Jeremie Corcoran and partner Rob O’Connor, promoter of the Syracuse Nationals, were chatting about what they could offer to go with their successful Syracuse Stadiumcross event held in the Toyota Coliseum, at the NYS Fairgrounds in April and indoor dirt kart racing was the answer.
The two promoters will host the Coliseum Dirt Kart Clash on April 14th-16th. At the conclusion of the Syracuse Stadiumcross show, crews will go in and convert the Toyota Coliseum from motorcycle jumps and curves, to a dirt oval for kart racing.
Things will get started on Thursday with an open practice for all classes that will be competing, followed by racing on Friday night and Saturday.
There will be a class for most everyone from Jr. divisions, adult classes and even
Super Mod Mowers.
In announcing the event, co-promoter Jeremie Corcoran stated “we have had so much success with our prior events here at the fairgrounds, we hope this event grows into something special that kart racers can look forward to year after year.”
More information on classes, times and fees will be available soon on our Facebook page at, Coliseum Dirt Kart Clash. Get ready for the DIRT to fly again at the NYS Fairgrounds.
