Dylan Cisney kicked off his 2023 racing campaign at the Speed Palace three weeks ago with an exciting triumph that featured a last-lap pass of invader Parker Price-Miller. Anthony Macri, Danny Dietrich and Jeff Halligan made up the rest of the top five and with only one race in the books for 2023, they sit one through five in points as well.
Meanwhile, Dillon Stake scored his first career Selinsgrove Ford Super Late Model victory during opening day over Ross Robinson, Rick Eckert, Hayes Mattern and Jeff Rine. This will be the first of two scheduled visits for the ULMS Racing Series in 2023 at the Speedway and the 15th total visit for the series in its history.
Gregg Satterlee has won five of the last six ULMS events at the Speedway, while Jason Covert (2) is the only other driver to pick up more than one event victory for his trophy case. Drivers with single ULMS victories at the Speedway include Tyler Bare, Michael Norris, Mason Zeigler and Max Blair.
This will be the first of 12 scheduled Dack’s Trucking LLC Limited Late Model events for the 2023 racing season and it’s Stake entering the season as the defending points champion at the Speedway. Trent Brenneman, Shawn Shoemaker, Devin Hart and Ryan Zook made up the rest of the 2022 top-five and you can expect a large field of cars all vying for a shot of overtaking Stake as the series 2023 champion.
New to this season for the division will be a weekly $150 Hard Charger Award presented by River Valley Builders for the driver who passes the most cars in the feature event.
