Fall Series Begins Saturday at Five Mile Point Speedway

KIRKWOOD, NY – The 72nd Regular Season concluded on August 27th and Championships were decided at Five Mile Point Speedway. Now the focus turns to a brand new season, the Fall Series will crown champions with a brand new point series beginning this Saturday. This Saturday First Responders will be admitted into the grandstand free of charge by showing proper i.d. credentials. Racing begins at 6:05 p.m.

We thank our First Responders this Saturday evening for all of their selfless efforts for the people of our community. All EMT, Fire, Police, Doctor and Nurse’s presenting proper i.d. will be admitted into the grandstand free of charge this Saturday night.

The 2022 Fall Series will consist of five race weekends on the schedule. This Saturday will start the series off with a big evening of racing on the historic quarter mile oval. With many regional tracks idle the fall races always bring the best talent from all over the northeast. The weekly teams will be ready for the invaders.

The Fall Series dates will include this Saturday, September 10th – Saturday, September 24th – Saturday, September 15th and 22nd. The final race weekend will take place on Friday, October 28th and Saturday, October 29th with the National Quarter Mile Dirt Track Championship Weekend. The Modifieds will be on the schedule on September 24th and October 29th.

The Crate Sportsman will run for a $1,000 to win, the Street Stocks, 600 Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Futures Sportsman and FWD Four Cylinders will be in competition. All of the divisions will see boosted purses for the Fall Series races. The All-Star and Junior Slingshots will also make their return to the quarter mile oval for the first race of the series.

For the spectators, the weekly low grandstand admission rate will be intact. Adults are $12, Seniors, $10 with youth ages 9-14 only $5. Kids 8 years old and younger are admitted into the grandstand free of charge. Again, First Responders will be admitted into the grandstand free this Saturday as well.

Pit gates open at 3 p.m. with grandstand gates opening at 4:15 p.m. Practice begins at 5:15 p.m. with racing set to get underway at 6:05 p.m. The weather forecast is also outstanding for the first race of the five Fall Series weekends.
