In mid-September, the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco joins forces with the ‘Fonda 200’ to create one of the biggest weekends in STSS history.
The STSS sanctions the ‘Fonda 200’ as a points-paying event for the first time in history. The historic 200-lapper pays a whopping $53,000 to win and $1,000 just to take the green.
The STSS Modified purse totals nearly $140,000, plus a fully paid B-Main for all Modified competitors.
The 200-lapper also serves as the penultimate race of the Hurlock Auto & Speed North Region $12,000 championship pursuit for the STSS teams.
It all begins on Thursday, September 16 with an open practice night and the ‘Underdog 33’ for any Modified driver who has not won anywhere in 2021.
