DELEVAN, NY – The first ever Twin 20’s for the Outlaw Modifieds highlights this week’s card at Freedom Motorsports Park on Friday, June 15. Joining the Prime Time Energy Services Outlaw Modifieds on Danny Heineman & Sons night will be the Dialed Designs DIRTcar Sportsman, Cummings Trucking Street Stocks and the Danny Heineman & Sons Mini Stocks. The green flag is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
Danny Heineman and Sons is a customer focused heating and air-conditioning company started in 1976. Located at 13980 East Schutt Road in Sardinia, they employ highly trained people whose goal is to be the best service company in the Southern Tier and Western New York. From a winter’s chill through the dog days of summer, Danny Heineman and Sons will keep your home comfortable for both you and your family. Call 716-496-5037 for regular or emergency service. Danny Heineman and Sons is the proud sponsor of the Mini Stock division.
The Twin 20’s double feature format for the Prime Time Energy Services Outlaw Modifieds will use the normal draw re-draw format for the first 20 lapper. The starting lineup in the second 20 lap event will be determined during victory lane ceremonies of the first feature. The winning driver of the first feature will choose one of the three redraw numbers, four, six or eight, located in the bucket. The number chosen will be the invert for the second feature. For example, if the number eight is selected, the top eight finishers in the first feature will be inverted for the second feature. Each feature will offer regular points
Last week, Billy Van Pelt of Westfield, Pennsylvania returned to victory lane after a torrid battle with Matt Williamson of St. Catherines, Ontario and the duo now sits only three points apart (Williamson the leader) at the top of the standings. The competitiveness of the division is apparent as seven different drivers have cracked the top five in the first two races with Phil Vigneri III joining Williamson and Van Pelt in the top five each week.
Defending Dialed Designs DIRTcar Sportsman Champion Brad Rouse of St. Catherines, Ontario has owned the division so far this year as he is undefeated. There have been two winners in three weeks in the Cummings Trucking Street Stocks and no repeat victors in the Danny Heineman & Sons Mini Stocks.
Bring the family out for a great night of racing at the area’s fastest 1/3 mile clay oval. Grandstands open at 6:00 pm and racing starts at 7:30. Adult grandstand admission for this special event is only $15, $14 for Seniors, $8 for Students (9-15) and kids under 8 are admitted free.
