Patriot Sprint Tour Rolls into Ransomville Speedway this Friday, Fulton Saturday

RANSOMVILLE, NY – The Patriot Sprint Tour presented by A-Verdi Storage Containers begins its grueling June schedule this Friday, June 2, at the Ransomville Speedway and the Fulton Speedway on Saturday, June 3.

Ransomville Speedway has been a staple facility with the Patriots since its 2003 inception when Billy Krull picked up the first Ransomville win back in July of 2003. The ½ Mile track has had a total of 18 PST sanctioned events and has seen Chuck Hebing, Bryan Howland, Rick Wilson, George Suprick, Stewart Friesen, Jason Barney, and Jared Zimbardi all grace victory lane.

Four-time series champion Jared Zimbardi has been off to a hot start winning the first three of four events on the tour and is the current point leader. Joe Trenca’s continued consistency has now put him second in points with 528. Steve Collins unfortunate night at Fonda this past Saturday sets him back to third with 519 points. Kyle Drum (492) and Darryl Ruggles (466) complete the top five in the American Tour point standings.

Saturday, the series shifts to the Fulton Speedway where last season saw modified driver Danny Varin score his first ever win in 360 competition. This will be the tenth time in tour history we visit Fulton where Rick Wilson, Chuck Hebing, Justin Barger Dan Kaszubinski, Steve Poirier, Jason Barney, and Larry Wight have all made it to victory lane.

Both races will be presented by our title sponsor, A-Verdi Storage Containers of Savannah, New York.
