By MIKE MALLETT

Each year I attempt to do a 50 plus point notebook for the Knoxville Nationals with just odds and ends from the four nights of racing action. This year I decided to add a second notebook with 28 notes from the 28th Annual 360 Knoxville Nationals for the 360 Sprint cars. As we all know it was Terry McCarl reaching Victory Lane while picking up the $15,000 payday. Here are some other tidbits from the three night kickoff to Southern Iowa Speedweek.
