MILL HALL, PA – The highest purse ever paid for the super late model class, along with three other divisions takes place this Saturday at the Clinton County Motor Speedway. The super late models will be racing for a $20,000 purse the highest ever paid out for this division in the tracks 29-year history. $5,000 will go to the winner of the 50-lap feature with $2,000 for second $1,100 for fifth $600 for tenth and $300 just to take the green flag. There will also be a “Hard Charger” award worth $250, along with bonus money for any Limited late driver with the highest finish in the feature will receive and extra $200, with the second $100 and third $50, drivers not qualifying for the event will receive $60 tow money for there efforts.
In the last two years, in the special events run at the speedway for the super class, in five races, four different drivers have driven into victory lane, with Coleby Frye collecting two wins, with single wins going to Waylon Wagner, Dylan Yoder and Luke Hoffner. Those four and a host of other drivers will be on hand racing for the top prize money.
Three other top divisions will be in action including the Pro-Stocks racing for $500 to win FWD Four-Cylinders $300 and 270-Micro Sprints $400 to win.
Gates on Saturday October 14th will open at 3pm, with hot laps set to get underway at 6pm with heats races and features to follow. General admission for this special event is only $12, with Military/Senior citizens $7, under 12 will be admitted free, and Pit passes will be $35.
