LATROBE, PA – The Ground Pounding Big Block Modifieds will take on the Big Half Mile Dirt Track for the first time in 2023. The winner of the Big Block special will take home $2,000. Other special guests include the Annual 4 Cylinder Mother’s Day Race, four laps, with $100 going home with the winner.
The K2 Crate Late Models will get another opportunity to dazzle the fans with intense door-to-door racing. With the Jesse Sterbutzel Memorial paying $10,000 to win in three weeks, drivers will be dialing in their machines for a battle on the Big Half Mile.
The Joe’s Auto Body & Towing Pure Stocks will make their second appearance, with the Special T Metals LLC Modified 4 Cylinders, and the Penn/Ohio Pro Stocks will make their first appearance of the season. The Penn/Ohio Pro Stocks are replacing the Dean Pollock Hobby Stocks, plus their already scheduled races until the Hobby Stocks debut on July 1.
General Admission prices for Fast Five racing, including the Big Block Modified Special, are as follows; Adults: $20, Seniors: $17, Military: $17, Kids 7-11: $12, and Kids 6 and under are always free.
