Latrobe Speedway Fan Appreciation Night All Set

LATROBE, PAIt’s Fan Appreciation Night at Latrobe Speedway this Saturday, July 15. Along with celebrating our great fans, we’ll honor the memory of Ron Schmucker, the son of the Speedways founder Paul Schmucker. Ron Schmucker passed away on Feb. 8, 2022.

Ron drove race cars for many years and, along with his father, were the original owners of Schmucker’s Speedway. Mr. Schmucker is survived by his wife, Judy, and three children, Natalie, Juliann, and Rodney.

LMS presents Fan Appreciation Night. Fans get to come down on the super long front straightaway of Latrobe Speedway (enter at Turn 1) for the best Fan Appreciation Night. Meet and greet with your favorite driver and find a few more favorites. Fan Appreciation Night is also a favorite with the drivers.

All divisions are eligible for bonus money from the Schmucker family.

On the card for Saturday, July 15, will be the K2 Engineering Crate Late Models, Joe’s Auto Body & Towing Pure Stocks, Wisneski Waste Removal Penn Ohio Pro Stocks, Special T Metals LLC Modified 4 Cylinders, and the Dean Pollock Hobby Stocks.

General Admission prices for FAST-FIVE racing are; Adults: $15, Seniors:

$12, Military: $12, Kids 7-11: $10, and Kids 6 and under are always free.

PIT Gate prices; Adults:$35, and Youth: $20.

PIT Gates open at 4 p.m., the Grandstands at 5 p.m., and FAST-FIVE Racing at 7.
