Ontario Truck Driving School presents Double Features for Sportsman & 358 Modifieds and it’s Retro Race T Shirt Night

THOROLD, ONT – It is sure to be an action-packed night June 17th when Ontario Truck Driving School presents Double Features for the S&W Service Centre Sportsman and Pinty’s Delicious Foods 358 Modifieds.

Merrittville Speedway has been a Saturday Night Tradition for 7 decades and over the years longtime fans especially no doubt have T Shirt collections of their favorite drivers … favorite tracks and special events.

Many questions waiting to be answered:

Who has the oldest Driver T Shirt?
Which driver has the most fans in one of their shirts?
Who has the oldest ‘Merrittville’ T Shirt?
and maybe and most importantly … Who can still fit into their Retro Race T Shirt?

“Hope everyone has enjoyed looking back at some of the T Shirts we’ve used in the Count Downs each year … we sure have,” relates (Merrittville Speedway Owner) Don Spiece – a former racer himself that may dig out one of his own from back in the day, “it will be neat to see who shows up in what!”

There are two other questions that need to be answered as well …
Can a driver in the S&W Service Centre Sportsman and/or 358 Modified Division win both of their features?

“The excitement of Ontario Truck Driving School Night has been building for about a month,” added Spiece, “the second features for both classes were added to the event after May 13th’s Impact Promotions Night was rained out after qualifying was complete … there’s no better way to enjoy Father’s Day Weekend.”

When the Hoosier Stock and Wood Motor Company Modified Lite Features from May 13th were made up May 27th on CAA Niagara Night … Dave Bailey and Josh Sliter each won both of their Features

The 5 Division Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series program will also feature regular events for the Hoosier Stocks, Wood Motor Company Modified Lites and the Central Fabricating 4 Cylinder Divisions.
