THOROLD, ONT – W Abrasives Night Saturday July 29th will see Merrittville Speedway’s first 2017 Champion declared as the finale of the Tomaski Racing Triple Crown Series for the Central Fabricating and Welding 4 Cylinder Division will be among the featured events.
Joining the Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series Event will also be the final Vansickle Pet Valu and Groomingdale’s Enduro Qualifier accelerated by Niagara College in addition to the final 23 laps of the Hingston Metal Fabricators Pinty’s 358 Modifieds Feature on top of the regularly scheduled 35 lap Feature.
Adding to the excitement are the S&W Service Centre Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks and the Wood Motor Company Modified Lites.
Unfortunately the scheduled event for the Novice Sportsman has been cancelled.
The 2017 Tomaski Racing 4 Cylinder Triple Crown Series could go down to right down to the final lap as Tony Kelly leads Alex Riley by just 4 points.
Jeremy Cooper and Rob Goulding have the front row of Sunday August 27th’s 100 lap Enduro locked up after winning the first two Qualifiers for the Seaway Mall Motorized Mayhem Special Event.
July 29th’s final Vansickle Pet Valu & Groomingdale’s Enduro Qualifier accelerated by Niagara College will lock in the third guaranteed starter.
“Every year our 4 Cylinders provide some of the best racing and 2017 has been no exception … the Triple Crown could go down to the final lap and with our Enduro Qualifiers … anything can happen,” said Merrittville’s Don Spiece, “it’s definitely a night not to miss especially with the two 358 Modified Features.”
