Eastern Ontario Vintage Club Returns To Brockville For The Earl Bilow Memorial This Saturday

By JEFF CIGLICH

The Eastern Ontario Vintage Stock Car Club returns to the Brockville Ontario Speedway this year for it’s one and only appearance this coming Saturday, June 3rd.

The race will pay tribute to Earl Bilow, former owner of both the Brockville and Kingston Speedway’s. Before owning race tracks Bilow fielded a very competitive race team with Guy “Shorty” Robinson and the pair won multiple features at both the Kingston and Watertown Speedway’s.

Bilow is perhaps best know for helping other racers when he owned Central City Auto Parts. He loved the sport of stock car racing and was a true ambassador for the sport.

As for the action on the track, many of the new members have never raced at the Brockville Ontario Speedway. The Club is expecting a full field of cars, vintage veterans Paul Billings and Brian Comeau will likely see some challenges from some fresh new faces lead by Nathan Berry and Tyler Reynolds.

The green flag drops at 7 pm.
