Keith White Takes First Short Track Super Series Cajun Win at Big O

ENNIS, TX – For the second time in its history, the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco ‘Cajun Region’ visited the Lone Star State.

On Saturday, the STSS trekked west to Jim Moon’s Big O Speedway in Ennis, Texas to compete in Round No. 8 of the Day Motor Sports (Tyler, Texas) point series.

Keith White, a native Texan, added his name to the STSS Cajun Region win list with a $1,050 triumph in the night’s 20-lap main event.

White becomes the sixth different winner in the series this year.

White, a resident of Little River Academy, Texas, bested the August Big O Speedway winner Jon White Jr. of Red Oak, Texas, for the victory.

Series point leader Caleb Dillard (Robeline, La.) finished third. New Jersey native turned Waxahachie, Texas resident Kodey Keimig drove from 16th to finish fourth earning the Shed Road Auto Parts $50 Hard Charger.

Keith Badiali of Mansfield, La., completed the front five.

Heat winners were Tommy Rascoe, Dillard and Keith White.

Next up for the series is a doubleheader weekend on Friday, Oct. 1 and Saturday, Oct. 2. Sabine Speedway in Many, La., hosts the Friday event and Super Bee Speedway in Chatham, La., is the Saturday host as the series completes Rounds 9 and 10.
