NEW EGYPT, NJ – After three straight rain outs New Egypt Speedway management has decided to add the Crate Modifieds to this Saturday’s program when Creston Hydraulics presents The Round of 24 of May Modified Madness for the 358 Modifieds. The Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars, Hammer Sportsman and Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman will also be in competition along with the aforementioned Crate Modifieds.
“Our Crate Modified guys want to race, we feel bad that the weather hasn’t been on their side yet this year so we’re giving them a chance to race”, said New Egypt Speedway’s Joey Liquori.
The race will pay a full purse and be NON POINTS.
New Egypt Speedway will be hosting an Open Practice tomorrow night, Tuesday May 9th from 3:30PM-7:30PM. Pit gates will open at 2:30PM and pit admission will be $25 per person.
Pit gates will unlock at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday with spectator turnstiles opening at 4:00 p.m. Hot laps get underway at 5:00 p.m. and the racing starts at 6:00 p.m. Admission to the grandstand is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and older, $10 for teens 12-15, $10 for military personal and their spouses with ID, and Kids 11 & under are FREE. Pit admission is $30 with a New Egypt Speedway license and $40 with no license.
New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike.
