NEW EGYPT, NJ – New Egypt Speedway will be hosting a fan fest this
Saturday afternoon as part of the pre race ceremonies for the All Star Cup 100 taking place on Saturday night.
From 3:30-4:30pm some of the cars and stars of New Egypt Speedway will meet fans in the fourth turn picnic area with the machines that they will go to battle with just a short period after. Drivers will be available for autographs and pictures while young race fans will get an up close look at the cars.
Drivers tentatively scheduled to appear are Jimmy Blewett, Mike Butler, who finished second in Modified points in 2020, 2020 Crate and Sportsman Champion Jim Housworth, 2020 Rookie Sportsman Co-Champion Paul Mancini, Anthony Tramontana, Dominick Antonelli and more!
On Saturday the 3rd, Pit Gates will open at 3pm for tech inspection, Grandstands will also open at 3pm. Fan fest will take place off the fourth turn from 3:30-4:30pm, Hot laps will hit the Speedway at 5pm and the first green flag will fly at 6pm on the night.
Adult (16+) admission will be $30 with Seniors (65+) being $28, Teens (12-15) and Military w/ID are $18 with kids 11 & under being FREE. Pit Admission will be $40.
If you can’t attend you can watch the entire night on pay-per-view via Dirt Track Digest TV.
It will all culminate with a 100 lap Modified main event paying $10,000 to win and $500 just to start the race. Also in competition will be the Crate Modifieds paying $1,000 to win for their 30 lap main event, the Larry’s Hot Rods & Harley’s Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars Presented By: The Meat Shoppe in a 20 lapper paying $500 to win and the 4-Cylinders doing battle for $500 as well.
New Egypt Speedway, which is New Jersey’s premier dirt racing facility, is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike.
