MIDDLETOWN, NY – Following a successful opening night of weekly racing on Saturday, April 13, 2019, Orange County Fair Speedway will be closed on Saturday, April 20 so that fans and competitors can enjoy the Easter weekend. Racing will resume on Saturday, April 27 with “Back to the Blue – Law Enforcement Appreciation Night” night presented by Dana Distributors. Headlining the program will be the 800-horsepower Big-Block Modifieds in a 30-lap feature race paying the winner $3,300. They’ll be joined by the Small-Block Modifieds, the always exciting Sportsman, and the Rookie Sportsman, who will have their first outing on the Hard Clay speedway. Qualifying events will set the fields for the evening’s feature races.
All law enforcement members with proper identification will be admitted free on Back to the Blue Night.
Adult admission to Orange County Fair Speedway weekly races is $20, with children 10 and under $5.00. There is a $1.00 car fee for the Drive-In section. Race fans will receive a free program as they pass through the turnstiles.
The competitor pits open at 3:00 pm; spectator gates at 5:00 pm. Racing begins at 6:00 pm.
The 2019 season marks Orange County Fair Speedway’s second year under the stewardship of Orange Motorsports and Entertainment LLC. Look for continued changes and improvements to the historic speedway as the season progresses.
