Racing Resumes at OCFS on April 27

MIDDLETOWN, NY – Following the Easter weekend break, racing resumes at Orange County Fair Speedway (OCFS) on Saturday, April 27 with “Back the Blue – Law Enforcement Appreciation Night presented by Dana Distributors.” Headlining the program will be the 800-horsepower Big-Block Modifieds in a 30-lap feature race paying the winner $3,300. They’ll be joined by the Small-Block Modifieds, the always exciting Sportsman, and the Rookie Sportsman, who will have their first outing on the Hard Clay speedway. Qualifying events will set the fields for the evening’s feature races.

With the NFL’s New York Giants known as “Big Blue,” OCFS is proud to announce the Giants legends Carl Banks and Sean Landeta will be visiting the Hard Clay speedway on the 27th and will be meeting with fans as well as taking in the racing action.

All law enforcement members with proper identification will be admitted free on Back the Blue Night.

Adult admission to Orange County Fair Speedway weekly races is $20, with children 10 and under $5.00. There is a $1.00 car fee for the Drive-In section. Race fans will receive a free program as they pass through the turnstiles.

BULLETIN: To show appreciation for the young fans who attended opening night and might not have been able to stay to the evening’s conclusion, children under 14 will be admitted FREE for one night only on Back the Blue night.

The competitor pits open at 3:00 pm; spectator gates at 5:00 pm. Racing begins at 6:00 pm.

The 2019 season marks Orange County Fair Speedway’s second year under the stewardship of Orange Motorsports and Entertainment LLC. Look for continued changes and improvements to the historic speedway as the season progresses.
