OCFS Welcomes Youth Sports Participants on Saturday, May 18

MIDDLETOWN, NY – All youth sports participants both boys and girls wearing their teams’ jersey and high school athletes in uniform will be admitted to the Saturday, May 18 racing program at Orange County Fair Speedway free of charge.

The format for the evening’s racing excitement includes the Big-Block Modifieds, Sportsman, and Street Stocks, with each division competing in a qualify events and feature races. In the headline Modifieds feature race, the drivers will vying for a lucrative $3,300 first place prize money.

As part of Youth Sports night activities, Major League Baseball players will be in attendance.

Adult admission to Orange County Fair Speedway weekly races is $20, with children 10 and under $5.00. There is a $1.00 car fee for the Drive-In section. Race fans will receive a free program as they pass through the turnstiles. In addition, there will be free music at the 31st Lap Tavern.

The competitor pits open at 2:30 pm; spectator gates and Drive-In at 4:00 pm. Racing begins at 6:00 pm.

Fans and competitors are reminded to check the OCFS website and other social media sites for information regarding rescheduling the balance of the May 10 program.

The 2019 season marks Orange County Fair Speedway’s second year under the stewardship of Orange Motorsports and Entertainment LLC. Look for continued changes and improvements to the historic speedway as the season progresses.
