All-Star Circuit of Champions Heading to Orange County Saturday

MIDDLETOWN, NY – he lightning fast 410 sprint cars of Tony Stewart’s All-Star Circuit of Champions will be racing on the new Orange County Fair Speedway track surface this Saturday, July 13, 2019. Over the past two weeks hundreds of loads of new clay have been added to the five-eighths-mile track setting up a level of excitement as both the headline sprint cars as well as the track’s weekly Small-Block Modifieds will be the first divisions to see action on the new surface.

Stewart’s traveling sprint car sanctioning group is on a three-race swing through New York State, with consecutive race meets at Utica-Rome, Orange County, and Lebanon Valley Speedways. As of July 6, Aaron Reutzal, with five wins and 2,122 points is the series leader. Right behind is all-time All-Star winner (134 victories) Dale Blaney, with three wins and 2,112 points in the 14 races thus far in 2019. They’re set to take on all challenges this Saturday from the other All-Stars and visiting Pennsylvania-based drivers.

The weekly Small-Block Modified division is the night’s support division. But with a double purse on the line—that’s $4,000 to win and $300 just to start the 25-lap feature race—this is hardly an undercard. Look for sparks to fly as point leader Brian Krummel tries to hold off challenger Brett Hearn and two dozen other challengers for the night’s extra prize money.

Reserved seats are available for this event. Check the track’s website for ticket prices and locations. On Saturday, the pits will open at 2:00 pm; the stands and drive-in at 4:00 pm.
