Three Divisions Highlight Port Royal Childhood Cancer Night

PORT ROYAL, PA – Port Royal Speedway returns this Saturday, June 3rd, with another three-division spectacular. The event, named Nicole’s Dream, will serve as a night to raise awareness for childhood cancer.

The evening will see the Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Cars compete for $5000 to win along with the Selinsgrove Ford Super Late Models vying for $4000 to take the checkered flag. The PennsValley MeatMarket 305 Sprint Cars will round out the card.

Along with the exciting action taking to the track, the fans will also be able to partake in the evening’s festivities as it’ll be camera and autograph night at the Speed Palace. All fans with a general admission arm band will be welcomed into the pits prior to the night’s racing activities from 5:00 to 5:45 to take pictures and get autographs with their favorite drivers and cars.

As part of the effort to raise awareness for childhood cancer, there will be an auction in the commercial building to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Various door panels, wing panels, racing collectibles and more will be available for bidding. The auction starts at 5:30.

There will also be various giveaways for kids to include chances to win a bike and more!

Pit Gates Open at 4:00, GA Gates Open at 5:00 with Racing scheduled to kick off at 7:00pm

GA- $20, Students- $10, Pits- $35

Lance Dewease enters the weekend as the most recent winner in Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Car competition as earned the $29,000 Weikert Memorial victory last weekend.

Rick Eckert is the current super late model point leader tied by a margin of 35 points over Hayes Mattern. Jeff Rine (-50), Dylan Stake (-55) and Colton Flinner (-110) complete the top five.

Closing out the card is the PA Sprint Series 305 Sprint Cars. Logan Spahr enters the event undefeated at the Speedway and is the current point leader. Seth Schnoke, Ken Duke, Zach Rhodes and Doug Dodson round out the top five.
