RoC Celebration Set for January 14

MOUNT MORRIS, NY – The Race of Champions Series will gather at the Genesee River Restaurant & Reception Center in Mount Morris, New York, on Saturday, January 14, to celebrate the 2016 season. Patrick Emerling of Orchard Park, NY, Matt Sheppard of Waterloo, NY, Brad Rouse of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, and Joe Mancuso of Buffalo, NY, will be honored as division champions, while several others will receive special recognition in addition to recognizing the accomplishments of all for an entire season of passion and dedication.

“This will be a great night for everyone involved in the Race of Champions programs throughout the year,” stated Joe Skotnicki with the Race of Champions. “This is an event we are looking forward to. We are thrilled to honor and recognize our champions, as well as recognize everyone for the hard work and passion they share toward our great sport. It will be a special evening and a great way to kick off a new year filled with anticipation and excitement.”

The reception will begin at 6:00 pm, with dinner and awards at 7:00 pm, along with a DJ for dancing and post-dinner entertainment. The Genesee River Restaurant & Reception Center is located at 134 North Main Street, Mount Morris, NY 14510.

The Race of Champions is a sanctioning body presenting Modified and Stock Car racing on asphalt and dirt surfaces throughout the Northeast, with events in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
