RANSOMVILLE, NY – With the 60th season of racing just around the corner, the Ransomville Speedway is continuing to enhance the racing program weekly at the Big R. The Ransomville Speedway is bringing back the Kids Club this season. Ransomville Speedway is also thanking all military personnel with a Military Appreciation Night on Memorial Day Weekend!
In 2017, the popular Kids Club will be making its return on race nights. The Kids Club will be under the leadership of Donna Buzzard and her daughter Rachel. From 6:00pm-7:15pm, kids ages 3-12 can enjoy fun activities before the races behind the grandstands. Each week, one lucky Kids Club member will win a ticket to go to Fantasy Island! For $25, race teams can sponsor the night club for the night. When a race team sponsors a night, they are invited to have their car on display. On Friday May 26th, Ransomville Speedway will be having a Military Appreciation Night. All veterans and members of the military will receive free admission with proper ID. “We appreciate and want to honor their service and dedication to protecting our freedoms both at home and abroad” says Ransomville Speedway General Manager Jenn Martin. The May 26th racing action is presented by United Materials LLC featuring a full card of racing plus Autograph Night.
Once again in 2017, Jim and Michelle Mullen of Performance Photo and Video are the official photographers and videographers of the Big R! DVD’s and pictures are available for purchase by calling Performance Photo and Video at (585) 409-0417. Pictures are also available for purchase at the Novelty booth on race nights.
