RANSOMVILLE, NY – The month of March will be a busy one for Ransomville Speedway as the speedway will be participating in the 32nd annual Syracuse Motorsports Expo, held March 10-11 on the New York State Fairgrounds.
The 2018 Syracuse Motorsports Expo is under the promotion of Jeremie Corcoran, who also promotes the Northeast Racing Products show in Syracuse in November. Ransomville Speedway’s display will be a must-see with the race cars of returning Stevenson’s Hardware Novice Sportsman driver Mike Martin and sophomore sensation Jordan Moden’s KiPo Chevrolet Street Stock. Everyone attending the show will have the opportunity to pick up the 2018 Ransomville Speedway schedule and the chance to check out the new 2018 merchandise before you can get it at the track on Opening Night!
The Big R will be joined by several other speedways, organizations, and vendors from throughout the Northeast at this two-day event that has been known as the “unofficial start of the season”. Syracuse Motorsports Expo will be open on Saturday, March 10 from 10am-8pm and on Sunday, March 11 from 11am-4pm. Adults are just $12 and kids ages 6-12 is $5. After the Syracuse Motorsports Expo has concluded, the attention will shift to the annual Ransomville Speedway car show held the weekend of March 23-25 at the Fashion Outlets Niagara Falls USA during mall hours. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the 2018 Miss Ransomville contestants on Friday, March 23 at 7 pm. On Saturday, March 24, the crowning of Miss Ransomville 2018 will be held starting at 6:30 pm. An autograph session featuring the drivers of the cars on display will take place on Saturday evening as well. Applications are still be taken for Miss Ransomville and you can contact General Manager Jenn Martin for an application.
Spring is right around the corner! For 2018, the Big R is offering race teams the opportunity to adopt a section of shrubbery to beautify the parking lot! Teams are encouraged to do their section up in their respective team’s colors and numbers! Teams can share areas if they would like.
