RANSOMVILLE, NY – “The Winged Warriors” of the Patriot Sprint Tour is coming to the Niagara Frontier for their annual stop at the Big R this coming Friday night, June 1 presented by A-Verdi Storage Containers, All Metal Works, Certo Brothers, and Just Signs & Designs. Joining in the action is the Investors Service Sportsman, KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks, Gippster’s Collision 4 Bangers, and the Stevenson’s Hardware Novice Sportsman.
When the Patriot Sprint Tour made their appearances in 2017, “The Racing Physician” Steve Collins of Belfast, NY and “The Cobra” Chuck Hebing from Ontario, NY picked up the feature wins.
Early in the 2018 season for the Patriot Sprint Tour, “Racing Jason” Jason Barney has won two events. Chuck Hebing won the most recent PST event this past Friday night at the Albany-Saratoga Speedway, notching his 46th career Patriot Sprint Tour A-Main victory. Going into the event at the Big R this coming Friday night, Hebing leads Barney by three points on the PST American Tour. Jeff Cook, Steve Poirier, Josh Pieniazek, Paulie Colagiovanni, Darryl Ruggles, Jordan Thomas, Cody Sparks, and Matt Tanner complete the top ten. Lewiston native Derek Jonathan is 11th in PST points.
Pit gates will open at 5 pm with grandstands opening at 6 pm and the first green flag of the night will fly at 7:15 pm sharp. Grandstand admission is $18 for adults, $16 for seniors, kids aged 9-12 are $10 and under 8 is FREE! Pit admission is $32 for members, DIRT licenses and $37 for non-members.
