RANSOMVILLE, NY – Following the first rainout of the season, “The Little R” returned to action on Thursday night without a cloud in the sky. James Strasburg won the $100 lap special for the Slack Karts Junior 1. Colin Spatarico won the Finish Line Auto Detail Senior Heavy. Jeff Anstett won his fourth Fisher’s Automotive Senior Lites feature. Anthony Pollow, like Anstett, won his fourth Fitzgibbon Contracting and Construction Junior 3 feature of the season. Jacob Schulz won his third SJE Shocks Junior 2 feature. Raelyn Just, Ryan Barry, and picked up wins in the Just Signs & Designs Novice.
Thomas Ruggiero took the lead away from polesitter Jackson Bonesky on lap two of the $100 to win special for the Slack Karts Junior 1. Brooklyn Chaffee took over the lead on lap five. While working lap traffic, James Strasburg took the lead and went on to pick up the win. Bob Hanel donated the $100 to win
David Foti had the pole position to start the main event for the Finish Line Auto Detail Senior Heavy feature. Colin Spatarico took over the lead on lap two and would go on to score the win.
Jeff Anstett had the lead from the holeshot in the Fisher’s Automotive Senior Lites feature. Anstett would lead all 15-laps to pick up his fourth feature of the season.
Anthony Pollow had the pole in the Fitzgibbon Contracting and Construction Junior 3 and would lead the entire race to grab his fourth win of the season.
Abigail Fisher had the pole position for the SJE Shocks Junior 2 feature. Jacob Schulz would take over the lead on lap eight and would go on to score the win.
Raelyn Just won the first feature for the Just Signs & Designs Novice. Raelyn led all 10-laps to score the win. Ryan Barry led all ten laps to win the second Novice feature. Cole Schumacher led all 10-laps to win the third feature for the Novice division.
The ”Little R” will return to action on Thursday, June 17 for a full card of SANY New York Go-Kart racing. Pit gates will open at 5 pm and racing will get underway at 7 pm. As always, free grandstand admission to watch the future stars in action on the 1/16th-mile “Little R”.
