BLAUVELT, NY – Peter Reynolds, promoter for Bethel Speedway is proud to announce a sponsorship agreement has been signed with Shakelton Auto & Truck Centers, (NAPA) as the division sponsor for the Street Stock division for the 2018 points season.
Shakelton Auto & Truck Centers has been involved with Bethel Speedway for many years, and now has (10) ten NAPA stores located in Sullivan, Orange, Delaware, and Ulster Counties in NY, and Pike County in NorthEastern Pennsylvania.
This sponsorship will help increase the drivers’ point fund for the Street Stock division. Each car, team, driver competing in the Street Stock division, must have the Shakelton Auto & Truck Centers decal on the upper door of all cars, in order to be eligible for point fund monies.
President George Shakelton is excited about this sponsorship with Bethel Speedway as the Street Stock division sponsor. “Short track, Grassroots racing at its best!” exclaimed George Shakelton. “We are excited to be involved with Bethel Motor Speedway, as a lot of our customers’ race, or attend the speedway weekly.
The results of racing at Bethel Speedway are the conversations at many Shakelton stores on Monday mornings.”
Shakelton Auto & Truck Centers are no stranger to motorsports, as they have been involved with local short track racing, sponsoring many local race teams for years.
DIRT Modified legend, The “Doctor” Danny Johnson, will be driving the Shakelton’s Auto & Truck Centers DIRT Modified #27J on the DIRT Super Series for 2018. Their schedule may also include some other special Modified races.
Shakelton Auto & Truck Centers also sponsor: 2017 Eastern States winner Brett Hearn, Small Block Modified superstar Danny Creeden on the STSS & at 5 Mile Point Speedway, as well as, Bethel Speedway drivers Kyle Welsh and Mike Roth.
