BLAUVELT, NY – Mother Nature has not been kind to Bethel Speedway in regards to precipitation during pre-season prep work, and has forced the cancellation of its April 7th test and tune session. From snow, to rain, to three straight Nor’easters, it has been a difficult go of it to prepare the facility to open for it’s first test and tune session.
Bethel Speedway general manager George Van Arsdall, Jr. stated,”It’s been a very slow process. Mother Nature has been relentless this March and April. Pre-season prep work has been very slow going due to weather conditions, extensive clean up, and repair work. We want the facility to be ready for our patrons.”
