BATAVIA, NY – With the 2018 Regular Season at the Genesee Speedway now in the rearview mirror, the focus now turns to the high-paying postseason events that race teams and fans have prepared and waited for all year.

This Saturday and Sunday, September 15 and 16, the gates at the Genesee Speedway swing back open for two big shows as part of the 2nd Annual Topless Crate Nationals. This unique events features five divisions running both nights for their share of a purse that is slated to exceed $54,000.

The Crate Late Models and Crate Sportsman divisions will highlight the weekend, with each of Genesee’s premiere divisions running for $1,500-to-win on Saturday Night and an impressive $3,000 top prize in Sunday’s feature. Both divisions will also be running group time trials on each night to allow fair competition without unnecessary clutter on the 1/3-mile oval.

The other highlighted topless division will be the RUSH Sprint Cars which will make their first appearance to Genesee with a pair of performances. These cars are plenty use to running topless and should put on quite the show slinging their big rear tires around Genesee County.

The Street Stocks were a major hit in last year’s event, with high car counts racing for $1,000-to-win each event. That same money is back in 2018, but so too is the ability for this division to also race topless if their car has the capability. Dale Valley Diecast will present the Saturday Night portion of the weekend. Not only will the weekly trackside merchandise warehouse sponsor the night, they are also throwing in money to boost up the Street Stock portion. Each heat winner will receive $100 and the hard charger in the feature will also receive $100.

The Mini Stocks are also back by popular demand, with a pair of $300-to-win shows that are sure to bring in some outsiders. The Sunday Night portion of the weekend will be presented by Champion Racing Oil/Stirling Lubricants which have helped to make this great weekend possible.

On the weekend, Heat races are slated to start at 4:00 p.m. each day, with Group Time Trials for the Crate Sportsman and Late Models starting at approximately 3:00 P.M. Pit Gates will swing open at 1:00 P.M. each day. For more information, visit www.Genesee-Speedway.com.
