PORT ROYAL, PA – Port Royal Speedway will host $1 Hot Dog Night this Saturday, April 8 at 6 pm when the Weikert’s Livestock 410 sprints, River Valley Builders super late models, Gray’s Auto and Towing econo late models and the Juniata Junction xtreme stocks take to the track.
The race date will be the season debut of both the econo late model and xtreme stock classes.
And of course, everyone can eat his or her fill of hot dogs at the low price of just $1 each!
Adult general admission for the show will be $15 with students ages 12 –18 admitted for just $7.
General admission gates will open at 4 pm.
One week later on April 15 it will be Asher’s Chocolates Kids Easter Night at Port Royal Speedway.
The first 200 youth through the main general admission gate on April 15 will receive a free Easter treat courtesy of Ashers.
Each feature winner on the night will receive a giant Asher’s Easter basket as well.
In action on April 15 will be the 410 sprints, super late models and the econo late models.
And then Race to Cure Cancer Night will take place on April 22 when fans will have a chance to make drivers Tyler Bear, Pete Leister and Zach Newlin shave their heads in front of the grandstand.
If each driver can collect a total of $500 in donations from fans and fellow drivers, they have offered to have their heads shaved as part of the fundraising for the American Cancer Society.
The Port Royal portion of the 50/50 sales on the night will also go to the ACS.
Racing on April 22 will be the 410 sprints and the xtreme stocks along with the make-up 2016 Keystone RaceSaver Challenge for IMCA 305 sprints as part of the Creasy Signs 305 Sprint Series at the track.
