MECHANICSBURG, PA – Williams Grove Speedway will present another Yellow Breeches 500 event for the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars coming up this Friday night, August 25 at 8 pm.
The 410 sprints will compete in a 25-lap main paying a healthy $500 just to start.
The HJ Towing and Recovery 358 sprints are also part of Friday’s racing card.
Heat races will set the feature starting grids for both sprint car divisons.
Adult general admission is $15 for the racing program with youth ages 13 – 20 priced at $10.
Kids ages 12 and under are always admitted for free at Williams Grove Speedway!
The Williams Grove portion of the weekly 50/50 drawing will be donated to the Central Pa Bloodbank and the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing.
Following the August 25 racing program, Williams Grove will be in action twice over the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend.
On Friday night, September 1, the track will host the Van May Tribute Race as part of the Hoosier Diamond Series for the 410 sprint cars, presented by Union Quarries as the sprints race for $4,000 to win.
URC champion Kramer Williamson will also be feted as the URC 360 Sprints also compete on September 1 in a 25-lap main paying $2,000 to win.
Fireworks are also part of the holiday program.
And then the track returns on Sunday, September 3 at 8 pm with the annual Billy Kimmel Memorial race for the 410 sprints paying $3,800 to win, along with action for the 358 sprints.
The 358s will race in a make-up event as part of the 2017 K1 RaceGear Summer Series paying $1,500 to win.
