Port Royal Speedway Says Thank You To All For Huge Tuscarora 50 Success

50th Annual Tuscarora 50 - All Star Circuit of Champions - Port Royal Speedway - 29s Jason Schultz

PORT ROYAL, PA – The 50th annual Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway held on September 9 was a huge success for the vast field of sprint car drivers in attendance, the huge crowd on hand and for the speedway and to that end, the historic oval wishes to thank everyone who participated in one way or another that helped to contribute to that success.

However despite all of the track’s best efforts, there were admittedly some miscues and errors made by the oval during the execution of the huge and historic event.

And while nothing is ever perfect, the speedway recognizes that the issues that arose were inconvenient and to that end Port Royal Speedway and staff extends its apologies to anyone who may have been adversely effected and who may not have had the best experience possible while attending the event.

Port Royal Speedway will work to correct any issues of the sort that arose during the September 8 and 9 weekend in an effort to improve upon its major events in the future, including the running of the 2018 Tuscarora 50 weekend.

Oval officials announced just prior to Saturday’s main event that the 51st annual Tuscarora 50 held in September 2018 will pay $51,000 to win and an even $1,000 just to start the prestigious event.

And again, all of the Port Royal Speedway officials, staff and the Juniata County Agricultural Society directors extend their many thanks to all who helped in making the 50th annual Tuscarora 50 paying $50,000 to win such a success.
