Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour Heads to Thunder Mountain Saturday

CENTER LISLE, NY – For the third straight season the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour heads up the mountain here for what should be a very exciting show with a great mix of machines representing different era’s of open wheel Modified racing.

From the 1930 Ford flathead of Richard Ackerman in the Nostalgia class to the 700 horse big block of Joe August in our new unrestricted Unlimited division the DMNT should have something for everyone and bring back nostalgic memories for the racers and fans alike.

But make no mistake, this is a true racing series first and foremost and the action should be pretty intense on the speedway surface.

Brad Litzenberger of Romulus, NY will be looking to carry the momentum in the Nostalgia class coming off his feature win at the Airborne Speedway a few weeks ago. He will no doubt find plenty of competition from Naples, NY pilot Loren Lincoln and plenty of others.

Mike Houghtaling of Liberty, NY will be looking to double dip with a pair of entries in the Modified and Unlimited class. Houghtaling also claimed a win in Modified at Airborne.

Both the Modified and Unlimited class will see plenty of new faces Saturday including Bernadette Phillips who makes her first ever start with the series behind the wheel of a Falcon bodied entry.

This will be race number 2 on the DMNT calendar, the green flag drops at 7 pm.
