Broedel Fuel Group and Pioneer Window Manufacturing Present Empire Super Sprint Speedweek this Sunday, July 7; Tony Stewart Competes with His Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All-Star Circuit of Champions on Friday, July 12

VERNON, NY – If you are a Sprint Car fan Utica-Rome Speedway has a week to feed your appetite starting this Sunday, July 7.  The Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints cap off the 2019 Donath Motor Worx Speedweek on Sunday night before a Friday night showdown featuring Tony Stewart’s Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All-Star Circuit of Champions 410 Sprint Cars on July 12.

On Sunday, July 7, Broedel Fuel Group and Pioneer Window Manufacturing presents the second appearance by the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints plus the Dirttrackdigest.com DIRTcar 358-Modifieds, Broedel Fuel Group DIRTcar Sportsman competing in a DIRTcar Series 30-lap feature, the Ted’s Body Shop DIRTcar Pro Stocks and the Bernie’s Performance Parts Rookie Sportsman.

In 2019, the 360 Sprint Cars have made two appearances at Utica-Rome Speedway.  Matt Tanner won the opening round for the Empire Super Sprints back in May while Davie Franek was victorious in the 50-lap Cole Cup just over a week ago.  A strong contingent of Sprint Cars in expected on Sunday night as it serves as the final to the 2019 edition of Donath Motor Worx Speedweek for the seventh consecutive year.

Also on the card for the night’s racing program is a rescheduled event for the DIRTcar Sportsman Series.  Kevin Root picked up the most recent win for the series this past Saturday at Land of Legends Raceway.  It is expected that a huge field of DIRTcar Sportsman will invade Utica-Rome Speedway for Sunday’s program.

Joining the Sprint Cars and DIRTcar Sportsman Series are the DirtTrackDigest.com DIRTcar 358-Modifieds.  Billy Dunn and Erick Rudolph have each found victory lane this season.  The Ted’s Body Shop DIRTcar Pro Stocks have also seen two different drivers get wins as Nick Stone and first-time winner Josh Coonradt have scored victories in the division.




Grandstands admission for the event Sunday’s event is $22 with seniors/military members/students costing $20.  Kids 16 and under are $5.  Pit prices for the event are $35 for DIRTcar Members and $40 for all non-members.  Pit gates will open at 2:30pm while spectator gates open at 3:30pm.  Racing starts promptly at 6pm.

Just five days later Tony Stewart’s Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All-Star Circuit of Champions Presented by Mobile1 visits the speedway presented by Turn One LLC and Clinton Tractor.  Currently Aaron Reutzel, of Clute, Texas, leads the point standings over multi-time series champions Dale Blaney.  Tony Stewart is expected to compete when the series visits the track on July 12.    They’ll be joined by Paul McMahan, Brock Zearfoss, Cory Eliason and a host of others all looking to tame the half-mile.

The All-Stars will be joined by the Modifieds in an open competition event.  The 30-lap, $2,000 to win feature rules are posted on the Utica-Rome Speedway website.  Drivers may utilize numerous motor combinations along with an open tire format.  No sail panels are allowed.
