WOODHULL, NY – The 2021 schedule of events has once again repeated itself at the Woodhull Raceway. The Insinger Performance Modifieds historically take off the opening night of race action and then come out swinging on night two and 2021 will be no different. With the Mod Squad laying dormant on April 17, they will come out in full force as everyone in the field will be trying to knock off the twenty-two time and defending Insinger performance Modified Track Champion, Billy VanPelt. The past two seasons BVP has had his hands full with a guy named Cory Costa who has given VanPelt fits and twice came up just a few markers shy of claiming Woodhull Raceway Track titles. Aside from Costa guys like Donnie Lawson, Josh Nobriga, Mike Bills, Dayton Brewer, Joe Dgien and Ajay Potrzebowski Jr. are all more than capable of beating VanPelt on any given night. The Modifieds will come right of the gate on April 24 with a 25 lap A Main Feature Event.
Also, on the Great 8 card of events it will be the NAPA 602 Crate Sportsman, the Cummings Trucking RUSH Late Models as well as the popular Joe Wilcox Performance Street Stocks. All seeing action will be the Woodhull Auto Supply Hobby Stocks, the Johnson Auto Supply Front Wheel Drives along with the Big Jim’s Wicked Tees Rear Wheel Driven 4 Cylinder Mini Stocks and the Big Jim’s Wicked Tees Youth Woodhull Warrior Division.
